Ambius Interior Plants
Pharmaceutical company Abbott Laboratories made the decision to have plants for environmental reasons and because it wanted staff and customers to work and relax in an attractive setting.
The Solution
Ambius provided a mixture of 72 free-standing plant displays using a mixture of plants from the Dracaena family, as well as a selection of specimen plants.
In the atrium restaurant and reception there are also eight large Ficus trees, each over 3.5 metres tall, which add focal points without encroaching on space.
The Results
The clean, open plan site is fitted with low filing units and the plants give the building a warmer, more pleasant feel.
Employees understand the benefits plants bring to their offices and many people have named their plants and are extremely protective of them.
They all know their Ambius technician by name and even ask her advice about plants they have at home!
