Accreditation

Rentokil Initial is committed to continuously improving the sustainability of its operations and independent accreditation demonstrates the progress that we are making. Here are some of our recent examples:

In 2015 Rentokil Initial retained membership of the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index of leading companies for the ninth successive year - we're one of only 35 UK listed companies to achieve this global accreditation.

Following the introduction of the Support Services category in 2015, we are now members of the FTSE4Good Index.

In 2015 Rentokil Initial was awarded Top Employers UK certification for the third year running. The certification is awarded by The Top Employers Institute, based on independently conducted research.  Following an assessment that examined employee benefits, working conditions, training and development, and culture management, Rentokil Initial was identified as one of a leading group of 67 companies.

In 2015, Rentokil Initial was ranked second amongst European business service companies who were measured against 20 corporate responsibility issues by Generali, one of the leading insurance companies in the world, and the leader in life insurance in Europe.

Rentokil Initial became a member of the Euronext Vigeo index: Euronext Vigeo – UK 20 (the 20 most advanced companies in the UK) in December 2015. Euronext is the first pan-European stock exchange network, and the EuronextVigeo indices are sustainability indices compiled by Vigeo.

Rentokil Initial has been reconfirmed as a constituent of the Ethibel Sustainability Index (ESI) Excellence Europe since 15 April 2016 and also the Ethibel PIONEER and Ethibel EXCELLENCE Investment Registers from 2 May 2016. This selection by Forum ETHIBEL (www.forumethibel.org) indicates that the company can be qualified as a sector leader in terms of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
