What is an ADR?

An American Depository Receipt (ADR) represents ordinary or common shares of a non-US company trading in a US Stock Exchange. These are priced in US dollars so can be bought or sold in the same way as other US securities.

Rentokil Initial has a sponsored ADR programme administered by the Bank of New York Mellon (BNY Mellon).

What is an ADS/ADR?

Rentokil Initial’s ordinary shares are listed on the New York Stock Exchange in the form of American Depository Shares (ADSs) which are in turn evidenced by American Depositary Receipts (ADRs). Five ordinary shares are represented by one ADS.
