Rentokil Initial 2015 Pension Scheme

On the 24th February 2022 the Trustee completed the “buying-out” of benefits under the Rentokil Initial 2015 Pension Scheme (the “Scheme”) by securing the benefits in full for all members and beneficiaries through individual annuity policies with the Pension Insurance Corporation (“PIC”).

PIC (www.pensioncorporation.com) is a major specialised insurance company authorised by the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) and regulated by the PRA and the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). Having an individual annuity policy with a first class major insurer is expected to provide members  with greater long term security than benefits secured through a company pension scheme, even one as strong as Rentokil Initial’s.

Wind up of the Scheme

As the liabilities of the Scheme have been discharged it will be wound up and that is expected to be completed by the end of 2022.
