1 – Who are the Company’s Registrar and how do I contact them?

The Company’s Registrar is Equiniti Limited (Equiniti).

2 – Who are Equiniti?

Equiniti is the Company’s Registrar. Equiniti is responsible for keeping Rentokil Initial plc's register of members up to date and for administering the payment of dividends and other shareholder products.

Please contact Equiniti if you have enquiries about your Rentokil Initial plc shareholding, including those concerning the following matters:

  • change of name or address or bank account details;
  • loss of share certificate, dividend warrant or tax voucher;
  • to obtain a form for dividends to be paid directly to your bank or building society account (tax vouchers will still be sent to your registered address unless you request otherwise);
  • to obtain details of the dividend reinvestment plan which enables you to use your cash dividends to buy Rentokil Initial plc shares in the market;
  • lost or out of date dividend payments;
  • share transfers; and
  • information regarding the administration of your shareholding.

3 – Can I manage my shareholding online?

Yes, you can register to manage your shareholding online using Shareview which is a free and secure portfolio service provided by the Company’s Registrar, Equiniti Limited.

4 – What is Shareview?

Shareview is a secure, easy and convenient way to view your shareholding online.

Through the Shareview service, you can:

  • access details about your shares;
  • check sales, purchases or transfers relating to your shares;
  • ask to receive important shareholder information by email, directly to your inbox;
  • update your name, address or bank details online;
  • register your voting instructions for Rentokil Initial plc’s Annual General Meetings; and
  • receive an email when the Rentokil Initial plc's Strategic Report, Annual Report or financial results announcements are published.

5 – How can I join Shareview?

Equiniti operates a web-based enquiry and portfolio management service for shareholders. Visit www.shareview.co.uk for details and to sign up.

Increasingly, companies are offering shareholders the choice of receiving communications such as the notice of meeting by email or online instead of by post.

To register a preference, you just need to create a Portfolio which you can use to tell us if you want your company mailings sent to you by email or post. You can then change this at any time by simply logging on to your Portfolio and choosing Change preferences from the main left hand navigation menu.

If you choose 'email', we will pass your instruction on to any companies in your Shareview holding that offer shareholders an email option.

6 – How can I update my address details?

If you have a Shareview Portfolio access number and password, you can change your address online. Please log in using this link and select 'Change address'.

As long as your shareholding meets certain criteria, the change will take place straightaway.

If your shareholding is 2500 or less shares you can also change your address by phone and via post also.

If your shareholding is 2500 or more shares you can only change your address online or via post.

If you don't have a Shareview Portfolio, you will need to let us know the change by phone or by post. This is because, as part of the Shareview registration process, we send an activation letter to the current registered address.

7 – How can I update my bank details?

If you have a Shareview Portfolio access number and password, you can change your bank details online. Please log in using this link and select 'Change mandate’.

As long as your shareholding meets certain criteria, the change will take place straightaway.

If you hold 2,500 shares or fewer, you can also change your bank details quickly and easily online and over the telephone by contacting Equiniti.

For security reasons, if you hold more than 2,500 shares, you can change your bank details online or download a Bank Mandate Form from here and return it to Equiniti.

8 – I've changed my name. How can I update my details?

If you have changed your name then you will need to notify the Company’s Registrar, Equiniti. Further information is available on their website here.

9 – What should I do if I have lost/misplaced my share certificate?

In most cases there is a charge to replace share certificates so we advise that you ensure you have looked thoroughly before requesting a new one.

10 – I have more than one share certificate. Can they be combined?

If you have several Rentokil Initial plc share certificates we can combine these into one for you. Please send them to the Company’s Registrar, Equiniti, together with a covering letter. There is no charge to private shareholders for this service. When sending your certificates you may prefer to send them by special delivery for added security.

11 – Why do I receive duplicate documents?

If you have more than one account on the share register you are likely to receive documentation for each account. These can be combined for you free of charge. Please write to the Company’s Registrar, Equiniti.

12 – What should I do if a shareholder has died?

In the event of the death of a shareholder the next of kin or administrator of the estate should contact the Company’s Registrar, Equiniti. Equiniti have a Designated Bereavement Services Helpline on 0371 384 2793 (UK) or +44 121 415 0875 (overseas). You will be asked to supply a certified copy or the original of the death certificate, together with an appropriate authority to deal with the estate, such as a Grant of Probate.

13 – Where are the Company’s ordinary shares listed?

Rentokil Initial plc ordinary shares of 1p are listed in the UK on the London Stock Exchange (RTO).

American depository receipts (ADR)

Rentokil Initial plc also has an ADR programme that trades on the over-the-counter market in the United States. Further information can be found here.
