Creating a more effective business

Rentokil Initial is one of the largest users of Google Apps, delivering cloud-based efficiency and agility to our predominately mobile work force. This is improving the way we deliver our services in three main ways:

Firstly, Google Currents is used to communicate more effectively as well as sharing sales leads and service best practice.

Secondly, Google Hangouts have transformed the way colleagues interact, reducing the need for physical meetings and saving time, money and energy. Technicians now have onsite consultations via Hangouts, seeking advice on difficult issues that they are facing – and tapping into the technical experience of other colleagues.

Thirdly, the company uses Apps for smartphones and tablets to boost productivity and effectiveness. The company has begun to create its own Apps, dedicated to boosting productivity – so colleagues can spend more time with customers and less time travelling in their vehicles.
