Dow Jones sustainability indexes

Dow Jones Sustainability Indexes has announced its sustainability review of major companies and, for the fifth successive year, Rentokil Initial plc has been included in both the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index (DJSI World) and in its European equivalent (DJSI Europe).

DJSI World benchmarks companies for their corporate sustainability leadership and the highest performing 10% of companies are selected for inclusion. The assessment covers areas such as corporate governance, risk management, labour practices, environmental management, customer management and supply chain standards.

Rentokil Initial is also a member of the Business in the Community '100 Companies that Count' index, the Mayday network for climate change and the Carbon Disclosure Project. A copy of the company's corporate responsibility annual report for 2009 can be found at www.rentokil-initial.com.
